Removing Website Shortcut up on Home Screen, Android

Problem:

             There's a short cut called "Web Games" that keeps showing up on my Home Screen. I cannot trace where it came from. The short cut opens a Website called "h5playlist.com" which is a simple HTML 5 based Game Website with a few random games. The Whois of the Website traces to a Chinese Domain Name Provider, ename.com, and the games are provided by a German HTML 5 Game company, softgames.de.

Route Cause: 


                Web games shortcut was created because of a modification done to firmware by an unknown application.  It will be because of allowing installation of unknown source in android. You can identify the root cause application. Below is one of the cause of webgames application.


 



Com.androidhelper.sdk is the service in my Samsung galaxy grand 2 creating web games shortcut.

Solution1:

                Most of us does not want to reset our phone. In this case even you reset the phone also you will not get any solution. As the third party application modified your firmware. Flashing will only works. I will show you a best solution with out flashing your phone.
Step1: (Identify)
                Identify the route case of the web games short cut. Mostly it will be because of com services.  You can identify it by finding it in downloaded list. All com services willl be displayed in All applications tab. If you find and such com.androidhelper.sdk service in downloaded list.

Step2: (Unistall)
                Uninstall the service which you found is the route cause for the web games shortcut. You can only unistall the updates as it was system default service modified by third party application

Step3:(Disable)
                Go to all application list and disable the service com.androidhelper.sdk or which you identified as the route cause for the above problem.

Step4:(Block internet access)
                If you are not using any internet in your mobile it is ok your issue was solved. If you are using an active internet connection you need to block the internet access to the disabled service com.androidhelper.sdk or service which you identified as the route cause for the problem.

For blocking internet connection i used "no root data firewall" which was available in playstore.

                                  


                    You need to block background connections for download manager in some cases if you still getting this issue.

Note: With out blocking background data, even if you disable the connection. It will auto enable, updates and starts creating webgames shortcut.
